This course is taught in line with the Resuscitation Guidelines 2015 and will provide you with an understanding of the procedures around adult and child Basic Life Support with the use of the Automated Electronic Defibrillator (AED)Delivery Method

It is practical based course and is suitable for all staff that would benefit from an understanding of Basic Life Support, with the use of the Automated Electronic Defibrillator (AED)Course Aims and Objectives
To recognise the common signs of a Cardiac Arrest or Respiratory ArrestTo be able to safely perform a primary survey of a casualty
To understand how to support an unconscious breathing casualty by placing them in the recovery position
To be able to pratically help a non-breathing casualty by performing Basic Life Support
To understand the role of the Automated Electronic Defibillator and how to safely use it
