Course Aims and Objectives

During this training we will discuss:

- the different types of stoma, including colonostomy and ileostomies
the reasons for a stoma creation
- the complications associated with stoma and stoma care and how to prevent them
- the holistic care of someone with a stomas
- some of the different products that are available to support stoma management
