This course will guide you through how to support someone during their last year of life, through their last days and hours of life and how to care for the deceased and their family after death

Through the examination of a real life case study we will explore:
the principles of end of life care
effective communication in preparation for end of life
how to support patients and their families at end of life
the national policies (including the Ambitions Report, Only One Chance to get it Right and End of Life Care Strategy), which drive the improvement of care for patients and their families at end of life
the principles of care after death
