To understand the predisposing factors to and causes of wounds
To discuss the most common types of wounds including pressure ulcers
To be able to effectively assess wounds using the TIME risk assessment tool
To understand the various types of dressing available and when it is appropriate to use them
To demonstrate an understanding of the expected documentation surrounding wound care
